reTail

reTail is a web application that allows Princeton students to buy and sell items via a user-friendly auction. By encouraging fair pricing that benefits sellers and buyers alike, reTail helps extend the lifetime of everything from textbooks to clothing, in turn promoting a positive environmental impact. Features include filtered searching enhanced with NLP APIs, item uploading and modification, active bid tracking and editing, history review, and an email notification system. This application was built in a team of 5 using a Python-Flask backend, a PostgreSQL database, and a JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jinja2, and Bootstrap frontend.
